A FISH CAN CHANGE HIS GENDER!!!!!!!!!!!
Clownfish can change his gender. Surprisingly, all clownfish are born male. According to National Geographic. They have the ability to switch their sex, but will do so only to become the dominant female of a group. The change is irreversible.
His scientific name is Amphiprioninae with 4.3 inch in size and Average life span in the wild is 6 to 10 years.
Most
false clownfish are orange with three
white bands on the head and body. The white bands are outlined in black. Their
bodies are a bit more than 3 inches (88 millimetres) long on average, but they
may grow up to 4 inches (110 mm), according to the Animal Diversity Web (ADW).
The tail is rounded and the dorsal fin is lined with 11 spines.
Clownfish perform an elaborate dance with an anemone before taking up residence, gently touching its tentacles with different parts of their bodies until they are acclimated to their host. A layer of mucus on the clownfish's skin makes it immune to the fish-eating anemone's lethal sting. In exchange for safety from predators and food scraps, the clownfish drives off intruders and preens its host, removing parasites.
There are at
least 30 known species of clownfish, most of which live in the shallow waters
of the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, and the western Pacific. They are not found
in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, or Atlantic Ocean.
Clownfish are omnivores, which
means they eat meat and plants. They typically eat algae, zooplankton, worms
and small crustaceans, according to the National
Aquarium.
